Equality Hawaii Action Fund: Our Mission, Vision & Purpose

		Our Mission...
		Equality Hawaii Action Fund is a 527 political action committee (PAC) dedicated to advancing candidates who support equality for Hawaii's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their families.
		Our Vision...
		Equality Hawaii Action Fund envisions a Hawaii in which lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their families have equality in every aspect of life and candidates are confident an not afraid to express support for LGBT equality.
		Our Purpose...
		To achieve its mission and realize this vision, Equality Hawaii Action Fund creates opportunites to nurture candidates on issues that affect the LGBT community, collect accurate representations of candidates' positions and/or voting records on issues, communicate this information to the LGBT community and strives to be the vehicle that empowers the all people to engage in campaigns, participate in the electoral process and cast votes for the candidates that support us.
		A sign waver sends a message to Hawaii's legislature when HB444, an early version of the civil unions bill, was stalled in 2010.
