| Equality Hawaii Action Fund has devoted significant resources in Hawaii to advancing candidates that support equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. • Raised more than $10,000 in six weeks for supportive candidates during the critical 2010 election cycle. • Distributed $7,500 to LGBT-supportive candidates during the 2010 election cycle. • Distributed more than 3,000 printed Equality Hawaii Action Fund voter guides and 12,000 e-mail alerts to members recommeding supportive candidates on the 2010 ballot. • Endorsed pro-equality candidates in both the 2010 primary and general elections. • In the 2010 general election, nine of Equality Hawaii Action Fund's ten endorsed Senate candidates won and 30 of the 34 House candidates were victorious. • In the 2010 general election, all Equality Hawaii Action Fund endorsed candidates for U.S. Congress, U.S. Senate and Governor of Hawaii won. • Launched its 2012 campaign cycle with a fundraiser in Pacific Heights that raised $7,000. • Started work with candidates for Hawaii's federal offices in preparation for the 2012 election cycle. |
